"What to drink to this weekend" Memorial Day Weekend!!

First of all we here STOB want to thank all of the service men both in the military currently and those who are no longer with us. Our thoughts and prayers are always with you.

Lets get this show on the road.

To be honest, not much on tonight, how about crack a beer open with your significant other and just relax from sports? Catch up on some episodes from your favorite show. Pop in an old movie, something funny. I suggest Old School -

A. You don't have to think during the movie, you can just sit back and relax
B. It involves drinking.
C. Even though you've probably seen it a 100 times, its still funny.

Saturday will be another quiet sports day, however don't let the calm before the storm fool you.
Come 9PM on Pay Per View, things are about to get real crazy.
Heavyweights, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson vs. Matt Hammil will battle it out at the MGM Grand - Las Vegas
I think Rampage will take down Matt Hammil half way through round 2 however, its not going to be easy.
Mr. Hammil has incredible strength and has a very successful wrestling background but, I still don't think that will be enough to upset the veteran Rampage Jackson.

UFC 130

Due to the early take down, I suggest a beer with some fight to it.

Try Bell's Hop Slam Ale - with 10% alcohol content I think this drink will be feisty enough for you.

I hope you like Racing because Sunday is full of it.

Izod IndyCar Series, IndyCar, Indianapolis 500, ABC, noon

NASCAR, Sprint Cup, Coca-Cola 600, Fox, 5:30

Since its Sunday and usually that means its a good day to take a break from the bottle, how about you go to the fridge and grab an ice cold milk? That is what Helio Castroneves will be drinking after he wins the 2011 Indy 500!

  1. I watched Old School Friday night! Good choice of movie, I forgot how funny that movie was.

What a crazy ending to the Indy 500 too! I could not believe the leader crashed on the last lap.

Have you heard of the guy who won before?

    Great blog
