Who will be the LA Lakers new Head Coach?

It looks the next head coach of the LA Lakers will be, if he wants it, Mike Brown. Mike Brown is the former head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers and it is being reported that he could soon sign a multiyear deal with the Lakers for around $4 million a season. If this is the case, he will have beat out Former Rockets coach Rick Adelman and Lakers assistant coach Brian Shaw.

Do we think it’s a good idea? Out of the other coaches mentioned, it’s a good idea. If you remember, Mike Brown was named coach of the year in 2009 when he led the Cavs to a 66-16 record. Mike Brown led the Cavs to the 2007 NBA Finals, where they lost to the Spurs in 4 games. He also led them to the 2009 Eastern Conference Finals and the 2010 Eastern Conference Semifinals, where the Cavs lost both. After the 2010 season, Brown was fired.

We wish him luck in LA, we know it’s a tough place to coach and he has huge shoes to fill, but he did handle Lebron in Cleveland, so Kobe shouldn’t be an issue.
