A Little Bit About Contributor Jake Mason

To put it simply, I work on computers by day and gamble by night.

I love my day job but there isn't much more of a rush in life than sitting in a Las Vegas sportsbook with a lot of money on the line in the 4th quarter of a close NFL game. Here are a couple of my famous Las Vegas bets:
-$500 moneyline bet last NFL season for the Lions to beat the Vikings in Minnesota (Vikings were up 20-0 at halftime...)
-$1000 on the over in the Packers/Giants NFC Divisional game this past January (thank God for the Hail Mary at the end of the first half, no pun intended)
I also played a $1500 World Series of Poker tournament in 2008. I lasted about 4 hours when my pocket Aces were cracked. I hope to play another one next year. Back before online poker shutdown on April 15th, 2011, I played online poker 7 days a week/365 days a year. I miss those days...
When I am not at work or betting my future house away, I also enjoy actually watching sports leisurely, playing sports, fantasy football, attempting to write comedy (someday I'll do amateur stand up, I swear), watching sitcoms, belting out the famous "Jake laugh", working on this blog, just to name a few things...

That's a bull ride!
